Those of us who have received Thai massage before understand its magic. The rejuvenation it provides is undeniable.
For those of us who are new, Thai massage is interactive compared to other modalities. Think of it as assisted yoga meets deep tissue massage. It is physically intensive, but rewarding. It maintains your attention, but relaxes at the same time.
At its source - from the northern countryside of Chiang Mai to the capital, Bangkok - massage is a normal daily routine. Tourists aren't the only converts; Thai people love Thai massage too. Its widespread popularity starts at home. Passed down from generation to generation, Thai massage is the Thai counterpart to stepping on dad’s back. In fact, that is how our story started, too.
Over time, our therapists have engaged in study with the best teachers in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Bangkok, and the US to develop a massage regimen that works. We also dedicate time each week to developing new and improved techniques with each other. The group at Arisa is tight-knit. In order to treat you like family, we need to be one ourselves first.
Our studio in Los Altos, CA is a small, two-bed venue. For individuals, we want your visit to be cozy and inviting, but also social and friendly, with no compromise to your massage experience. For couples and friends, we want it to be your perfect, private get-away. In order to meet this goal, we designed the studio and made everything ourselves - including our massage oils and teas. That way, every detail would be in order.
If this is your first time, we value the opportunity to provide you with a memorable experience. If this is a follow-up visit, we thank you for staying with us. Please don’t hesitate to leave us feedback, as we are always looking for ways to improve our service.
See you soon.
Thai massage is good. We're looking to make the experience even better.
